Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TeacherHunt website and mobile apps (the "Platform"). TeacherHunt is a teaching-only hiring platform connecting teachers with coaching institutes and schools across India. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. A completely free Platform
TeacherHunt charges no fees from any end. Teachers use the Platform, build a profile, and apply to jobs entirely free. Institutes post jobs and hire entirely free. There are no consultancy charges, no commissions, no placement fees, no subscriptions, and no paywalls on either side. If TeacherHunt ever introduces an optional paid feature in the future, it will be clearly marked as optional and will never be required to use the core hiring function.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Platform. If you register on behalf of an institute, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
3. Your account
- Provide accurate, current information and keep it up to date.
- One account per institute. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure.
- Your role (teacher or institute) is chosen at sign-up and cannot be changed later.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent jobs, profiles, results, or credentials.
- Post non-teaching jobs, spam, or content that is unlawful, abusive, or infringing.
- Collect, scrape, or misuse other users' data, or contact users for anything other than the genuine hiring purpose of the Platform.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Platform.
5. Jobs, moderation, and applications
- Every job post is reviewed by our team before it goes live. We may approve, reject, edit-flag, or remove any post at our discretion, and may ask an institute to fix and resubmit.
- When a teacher applies to a job, the institute can view that teacher's profile and contact details and may contact them directly, usually by phone. Contact happens off the Platform.
- Institutes set their own hiring decisions. TeacherHunt does not participate in interviews, offers, salaries, or employment terms.
6. No guarantee of hiring or accuracy
TeacherHunt is a matching and listing platform. We do not guarantee that a teacher will be hired or that an institute will find a candidate. Profiles, results, and credentials are largely self-declared by users. While we admin-review institutes and moderate jobs, we do not independently verify every claim and are not responsible for the conduct, statements, or decisions of any user. Please exercise your own judgement before making hiring or career decisions.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of the information and content you add. You grant TeacherHunt a licence to host, display, and use that content as needed to operate the Platform and its matching and notification features, including showing your profile to institutes you apply to.
8. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data.
9. Limitation of liability
The Platform is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, TeacherHunt is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your reliance on the Platform, another user's conduct, or any hiring or employment outcome.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that harm users or the Platform. You may stop using the Platform and request account deletion at any time.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts of India.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time and will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform means you accept the updated Terms.
